OPERATIONS
Painting Around Your Business, Not Through It
Commercial painting is different from residential. Your customers, tenants, and employees can't stop showing up because you're painting. Here's how we minimize disruption while we work.
After-hours and weekend scheduling
We work nights and weekends on storefronts, restaurants, and offices so you don't lose a business day.
Insurance and licensing documentation
Certificate of Insurance ready in 24 hours. General liability, workers' comp, and Florida contractor license documentation on file for your risk team.
Tenant and staff coordination
Crews introduce themselves to on-site staff, wear identifiable uniforms, and follow your property's access and security protocols.
Multi-building project management
Portfolio projects get a dedicated project manager who reports to your property manager or facilities lead.
Low-VOC and low-odor products
For occupied spaces, we specify products that let you keep operating without disrupting employees or customers.
Priority scheduling for revenue-critical spaces
Storefronts, restaurants, and hospitality get priority because every closed day costs money.

MATERIALS
Paint Brands We Use and Why
For commercial work we specify products built for high-traffic durability and low disruption to occupied spaces. Not every commercial job needs the most premium finish, and we recommend what actually fits your use case.
For interior high-traffic areas, we typically use Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200 or ProMar 400. Both are scuff-resistant, wash easily, and hold up to years of hallway and lobby wear. For offices and light commercial, Sherwin-Williams ProMar 400 is a strong, cost-effective option.
For exterior commercial we specify Sherwin-Williams Duration or Emerald Exterior, both rated for high UV exposure and humidity resistance in Florida climate. For warehouses, garages, and industrial spaces, we specify epoxy floor coatings and industrial-grade wall products designed for those environments.
For occupied spaces, low-VOC and low-odor formulations are specified so staff and customers can continue operating during the project.

FAQ
Commercial Painting FAQs
Do you work after hours?
Yes. After-hours, overnight, and weekend scheduling is standard for commercial projects. Restaurants and retail typically prefer overnight work. Offices often prefer weekends. Multi-unit residential common areas usually run standard hours. We build the schedule around your operations.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Elevated Colors is fully licensed in the state of Florida, carries general liability insurance, and provides workers' compensation coverage for every crew member. Certificate of Insurance can be issued within 24 hours of proposal acceptance and delivered to your risk manager or property manager.
Can you handle multi-building projects?
Yes. Portfolio and multi-building projects are a core part of our commercial work. Each portfolio project gets a dedicated project manager who coordinates with your property manager or facilities lead, provides consistent progress reporting, and ensures documentation is delivered per building.
Do you work with property management companies?
Yes. We work with Central Florida property management companies on both one-off projects and recurring maintenance programs. Master service agreements are available for portfolios, with consistent documentation, reporting, and points of contact across every property.
Do you offer maintenance programs?
Yes. Recurring maintenance programs are quoted annually and can include scheduled touch-ups, common area repaints on a set cycle, and priority response for tenant turnover or damage. Program pricing is quoted based on portfolio size and scope.
What's your typical timeline?
Timelines depend on scope and scheduling constraints. Small office interiors typically finish in 2 to 4 days. Medium offices take 4 to 10 days. Multi-building projects run on a scheduled phased timeline. After-hours or weekend-only work extends calendar time but preserves your business operations.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance?
Yes. Certificate of Insurance is issued within 24 hours of proposal acceptance. We can add specific named insured entities, coverage limits, or additional endorsements based on your risk team's requirements.
Do you paint occupied commercial spaces?
Yes. Occupied space painting is standard for office, medical, and retail work. We specify low-VOC and low-odor products, coordinate access with on-site staff, and phase work so employees and customers can continue operating in the space. For sensitive environments like medical offices, we schedule around patient hours.
Do you offer emergency response painting?
Yes, on a limited basis. Storm damage, vandalism cleanup, tenant turnover deadlines, and other urgent commercial needs can be prioritized. Response availability depends on current scheduling.
Do you handle HOA common areas?
Yes. HOA common area painting is a regular part of our work. Clubhouses, hallways, stairwells, mailroom areas, and community center exteriors. We work directly with HOA boards or management companies and provide documentation appropriate for board and owner reporting.
