WHAT WE DO

Remodeling From the Team That Finishes the Job

Elevated Colors provides full home remodeling services throughout Central Florida, including kitchen updates, bathroom remodels, flooring installation, trim and molding work, and whole-room renovations across Winter Haven, Auburndale, Lake Wales, Dundee, and surrounding communities.

We started as a painting company, and paint is still the core of what we do. Remodeling grew out of it naturally: customers kept asking whether we could handle the cabinets, the trim, the flooring, the whole room. Now we do. Same crew standards, same fixed-price quotes, same satisfaction guarantee.

SCOPE

STRAIGHT TALK

What We Don't Do

We're a finish-focused remodeling team, not a general contractor. Being straight about the boundary saves everyone time on the estimate call.

If your project needs any of the work on the right, you'll need a licensed specialty contractor for that portion. We're glad to tell you what we can and can't cover, and we'll work alongside your other trades where the scopes meet.

OUR PROCESS

How Remodeling Works

Five steps, one point of contact throughout.

01

Free On-Site Walkthrough

We come out, walk the space, and talk through what you want. This is also where we're honest about scope: what's realistic, what it costs, and whether any part of it needs a specialty contractor.

02

Fixed-Price Written Quote

You get a line-itemed written quote covering labor, materials, and timeline. No allowances that balloon later. If we can't price something without opening a wall first, we say so instead of guessing.

03

Material Selection

We help you pick finishes, flooring, tile, and paint colors. Free color consultation is included, and we'll bring physical samples so you're not choosing off a screen.

04

Build and Finish

Our own crew does the work, in the sequence that makes sense. Floors and surfaces protected, dust contained, cleaned up daily. One point of contact for the whole project, so you're never chasing a subcontractor for an answer.

05

Walkthrough and Signoff

You walk the finished space before we invoice. Anything on your punch list gets handled before the project is considered done. Satisfaction guarantee in writing.

FAQ

Remodeling FAQs

Are you a licensed general contractor?

We're a licensed and insured painting and finish contractor. For remodeling work, that covers everything we list on this page: cabinets, flooring, trim, drywall, tile, fixtures, and full interior finish renovation. Structural work, electrical rewiring, plumbing relocation, and roofing require licensed specialty contractors, and we'll tell you upfront if your project needs one.

How long does a remodel take?

A cabinet-and-paint kitchen refresh usually takes one to two weeks. A bathroom remodel usually takes two to three weeks. Flooring for a whole house usually takes one week. Larger multi-room renovations run four to eight weeks. You'll get a specific timeline with your written quote.

Can I live in my home during the remodel?

For most projects, yes. We work room by room where possible, contain dust, and clean up daily. Kitchen and single-bathroom remodels are the exception: you'll be without that room for the duration, so we'll help you plan around it.

Do you handle permits?

For the finish work we do, most projects don't require permits. Where a permit is required for something in scope, we'll tell you during the estimate and handle the filing. If your project needs work outside our scope, that contractor pulls their own permits.

Can you work with my designer or my own materials?

Yes to both. If you're working with a designer, we'll build to their plan. If you've already bought tile, fixtures, or flooring, we'll install what you have. We'll flag anything we think won't hold up, but the final call is yours.

Do you offer financing?

Not directly. Most customers who need to spread payments use a home improvement loan or a HELOC through their own bank. We're happy to provide the written quote and scope documentation your lender will ask for.

Is painting included in a remodel?

Yes. Paint is included in every remodeling quote unless you specifically ask us to leave it out. It's the part of the job we know best, and doing it in-house at the end means the finish gets done right rather than rushed by a separate crew.

Ready to Talk Through Your Project?

Free on-site walkthrough within one business day. We'll tell you what's realistic, what it costs, and what we can and can't handle in-house.
